It's so petty, but I want to be with a financially secure and loving man. I don't want to have to worry about money, and I want to be able to buy the coolest clothes for my kids. I want to be able to afford a huge reef tank instead of my 29-gallon. I want money.
Isn't that sad? =/

I don't see it as sad. It's the way our society is set up that's sad. I understand what you mean by wanting to have money. It's not a total greed thing, it's more a not wanting to have to cut corners so much that the holes end up showing in your kids clothes and such. (I hope that made sense and sorry if it didn't.)
And I'm completely with you on the dad thing. It's incredibly weird and scary to think of not having my dad around when I need him.
