Requesting ideas from the "Peanut Gallery"

The prompt this week for the writing competition is the word "Thunderclap".  Right now, my muse is nowhere to be found, and the deadline is Thursday evening.

So... any ideas how I might write a story (fiction or non-fiction) based on that word?

There is an app called ThunderClap- (there is) that aggregates your posts and sends them to all your social media at once- something can go wrong with it-for example- someone is using it for mind control or threatening to use it in blackmail, which I almost used!
