Seriously, your headcanon, again, I fap to it. Prussia being actually kinda scared and a prude, but covering his insecurity up with bravado and asking for roughness...YESSS. That's so right. His thoughts at first, and then, his shock when he realises this can be done for pleasureI was a bit sad that England didn't find his prostate and gave him the ride of his life, but then I realised this was more realistic, since first times aren't as "accurate and perfect" as fandom makes them out to be. And speaking of realistic, I love the way you went around the preparation, and Prussia feeling pain, England's motions...oh, England! Man, he's so sexy in this fic...I can't get enough of him. He comes across as really experienced and powerful, when compared to Prussia's ingenuity and rough youth

So right you are! I'm so glad you brought this up! Here's why: I actually have been thinking a lot recently about how different nations would have approached sex (particularly male homosexual sex) in different eras... There's a fic coming on this! But anyway, Rome, according to my current read-on-the-treadmill book, thought that there was nothing wrong with gay sex at all... as long as you weren't taking it. So, fucking your slave boy? Totally fine, go ahead and write poetry about it! Seducing someone's son? Uh oh, you're in trouble. It comes out that you bottomed to somebody? Now we're in the category of legal penalties (you couldn't actually be killed until after Christianity hit). So anyway, I wonder if Rome wasn't himself responsible for the European war-time rape-as-humiliation model depicted here, as something that diminishes the victim but not the perpetrator, and how that would relate to his role in England's sexual education...
