In a slightly better mood...

I get to go home for Thanksgiving, if only for about 16 hours. I still get dericious nomz and get to see my momma, so I am OK with this. Thursday night/Friday will be crazy. I work at GameStop 1:30 am til 11 am, then I'm at the bar from 2pm to 8 pm. I'm going to drink so many energy drinks until I am UNCOMFORTABLY ENERGETIC. But at least I will be ( Read more... )

The sentiment is much appreciated, but I should be fine. I managed to not have to borrow money last month and I should be in good shape for this month as long as Savannah actually pays her half of the rent.

I hope you manage to make it to March without any more drama or shit; just be careful not to rush into another risky situation next time you move, 'kay?

Oh, I'm sure there will be plenty of drama. I'm living with a 22-year-old who acts like a 16-year-old and resents me because I get frustrated that she doesn't ever give me money to pay rent or bills on time. I'm definitely going to be more careful this next time, I have plenty of time to make a decision. I just wish I could afford to live on my own again. :/

Jesus fucking christ, what is wrong with people!? All of your friends are over my age, right? And even *I* think they're being beyond immature with such petty drama.

I really wish there was some way I could help you with the whole issue, but there isn't much I can do physically or financially. BUT, I'm always around if you want to vent to. Being that I don't know the parties involved (or at least, most of them), it might be helpful to be able to vent with no backlash. Anyway, feel better!

Most of these people didn't go to college, or at least not away-from-home living-with-strangers college, so I think that explains why so many of them are still stuck in high school bullshit drama mode. I'm done making excuses, though. I'm 25 years old and I don't need to put up with this childish shit anymore. I've held her hand and fought her and pushed her and begged her and she just does not want to be a grown up. I'm done wasting my energy on her.

That's honestly the healthiest choice. She seems like a sweet girl, but like you said, you're an adult and the person you're living with needs yo also be an adult.

Honestly, I'm terrified of being immature and selfish as I get older. I'd hate to be acting like a kid when I'm an adult. I only turn 20 in the next few weeks, but I'd like to think that going to college away from home has helped me put things into perspective.

The whole Highschool bullshit is exactly what I thought most people were trying to get away from after graduating, but I guess some people will be stuck in it forever.

All my current roommate cares about is doing drugs and fucking around too, so I feel ya. :| If housing wasn't paid for upfront, I'd pull my hair out.

Honestly, as time goes on, I think less and less that she really is a good person. It's becoming quite apparent how selfish and childish she is and she isn't doing a damn thing to change it, just running away and fucking things up more. If she and Travis -are- sleeping together, that's the last straw. The two of them being cute and talking shit about me in my own house is bad enough, if they're actually going to go all the way with it behind my back, that's just unforgivable. I know I hurt Travis in the past and I know I've been pretty much incapable of opening back up this year, but I've always been upfront with him about stuff and genuinely wanted to try to make things better. As for Savannah, I have fucking bent over backwards for her this whole time we've been living together whether she wants to believe it or not, I've flat-out given her a ton of things, I pay our bills myself and allow her to pay me back at her convenience, I have a second account in my bank account specifically for her to deposit money in when she has it so it ( ... )
