I'm really awful at remembering to update LJ anymore, but today was a rather awful day and I just want to vent about it.

So today has been a day.

GameStop FINALLY wants to promote me, but it essentially will come at the cost of me getting to go home for Christmas and my mom’s birthday. I can have off for the day after Christmas, but they assume I can ( Read more... )

Are Apples the only fruit choice?

I'm guessing so. It used to be you could choose whether you wanted fries or apple slices, now it's just a smaller version of both. Next time I might ask for two things of the fries instead of apples, but I already feel silly enough being 26 and ordering a Happy Meal, heh. I mostly only get them when I really like the toys, and this month it's Hello Kitty toys in winter outfits/color themes. There's a snowboarding one and hula hooping one, too.

It's really not a big deal overall, a few less calories/junk that I'll eat, it was just especially disappointing because of the day I was having. :/

Some McDonalds will actually sell the toys independently… but I'm basing this on information I gathered in 1989.
