I wonder if having skimmed milk instead of semi-skimmed in my tea will make up for the fact that I had malteasers for breakfast... again?

Since you don't mention how many Maltesers your breakfast involved it's difficult to be absolutely sure.
So let's just assume it all works out somehow.
Besides, you may have had Maltesers for breakfast, but I had banoffi pie as well as breakfast, so I'm the winner !

As I had maltesers for lunch, then I would have to say yes, definitely.
I would also insist that they should be considered one of your five portions of fruit and vegetables.
