Like so many of you,  today my heart is broken. I'm shattered, just numb with disbelief and grief. This has been the hardest day in a long, long time. And what makes it harder too is that (like many of you) my RL people don't share my love for and interest in Heath, his life and his work. So at this time, it is to the online community that we turn

Now if I could just stop crying long enough to *see*, maybe I could tell you how lovely it was to read this happy email note your got from HAL. Such a sweetie he was! I even found the misspelled word "who's" for "whose" totally endearing. God, I miss this man. Will the hole in my heart ever fill in again? I feel ripped in two. I know you understand. As Heath said, I wish you peace.
