Week Two saw the standard really go zooming up.

The prompt was 'Broken'. I struggled to think of a take on this subject but in the end, I came up with something I mostly liked. I don't have time to say much now, but I just wanted to say I'm SOOOO glad this one was yours. I really didn't care for the one that tied you at all, and neither did my friend here at work who's also in the contest. I have no idea how that entry got so many votes. Very strange.

Anyway, this one was awesome. You deserve to win!!! More later. S!

Thank you - I liked the premise of the other one but stumbled a bit over some of the writing itself. :-)

Can you tell me which was your friend's entry? There is a friend of mine also doing the comp, who told me way back when that the God one was one of her top favorite picks! And it scored a vote from me, as did Lola's entry! :-) My friend Kell wrote number three, and she is a very good writer too, just like the two of you! Ya for great writing friends!!

I've been doing the comp too and it's really fun. I *loved* the nursing home one - that was just fantastic!

My one was the girl coming out - last one. I voted for you - this was just beautifully written. :)

OH, I am so glad I now know which one was yours! I'd heard you were doing the comp from S! I really loved that story - it was so refreshing to read a non-angsty, vibrant, positive and happy story for a change! It made me want to be there, to be that person full of newness and on the edge of a brand new adventure - it was really fun - you could almost feel the beat of the music!

And please tell me which was your Week One entry? And are you a Twililght fan? :-))

Oh. My. Word!! A huge squeeee of delight to the news I just read on your LJ - congratulations!!! How amazingly exciting for you. :-) I'd love to keep track of how things go, if you'd put me on your friend's filter!

It's been really fun - I'm so glad I'm still in it!

LOL about Twilight - that was sort of a tongue in cheek comment - I've read the first book (and sorry but wasn't all that impressed - but I can see the lure - a bit like glutting yourself on cake) Have you read Clonhilde's review of them? (think that's the LJ name) OMG SO funny, I can link you if you like...

My first entry for week 1 was really short - it was my first ever bit of original so I was a bit nerve wracked, um, number 23.

I've done my entry for this week already so I'm really happy about that! But yes, your entry's are just gorgeous - you have such a talent!
