I wish I needed less sleep, but unfortunately I seem to require a full eight hours...or at least seven. Extremely inconvenient I think. *sigh* What could I do with less sleep and more hours in the day. A friend recently told me she only need around five hours. My flatmate is similar. *envious glare ( Read more... )

I like your posts. Nope, I'm not good at sleeping, or rather, at falling asleep. Am learning how to now, midtwenties, what I never learned as a kid..

Funny video. =)

I have to listen to my body.....as I rely on it too much for it to go wonky. At the moment it's saying 'WHAT ARE YOU DOING? That is ENOUGH chocolate' *LOL* And my brain is saying 'Mmm.....MORE...yum' :-)))))

In case you had me in mind: I actually need more than 5 hours - but my problem lies somwehere else. I've got no trouble sleeping... between midnight and 8 a.m. *LOL*.... Pitty I have to get up at 5.30 as I need to be at work at 7.30 at the latest (the first lesson starts at 7.45).... *sigh* So I go to bed when husband does and get up 3 hours before him. Not good but I can't see any solution to that. (Yes, we DO have separate bedrooms. I just don't want to go to bed at 9pm.) So, at weekends I sleep about 12 hours in a stretch. *LOL* Especially in winter...

6.30 is the earliest I get up. EVER. *LOL* 5.30 is the middle of the night sweety. (my flatmate usually goes for a walk around that time....or drives to the all night bagel shop.) *LOL* I did have you in mind, along with flatmate and several others. And you can sleep 12 hours without getting a headache? Half an hour extra and I have to get up or suffer. I'm at the point now where I wake at the same time during weekends as I do weekdays.......and now I never need an alarm clock. That's why When you called me in the mornings in Nuremberg I was always in town. :-))))

I have to leave home at 6.30 at the very latest - to ensure I am at work at 7.30 - but I was late twice (i.e. arrived after the first lesson had begun) twice in the last five months due to traffic jams.... they suggested I had to get up earlier... even earlier... no, I won't do that.

I'm a morning sleeper... sleep best before noon. *LOL* (I stepped out of the cinema at 2am yesterday (the film is almost 3 hours with an intermission and it started at 11pm) and arrived home at 3am - that's just my time. *LOL* When I got up at 10am husband and his brother (who stayed over night on an air matress) were still asleep. *LOL*

No, you work too long hours as it is.

Three hours! Ok glad I didn't go tonight...will go Tuesday....How was it? And did they enjoy their concert? They must have returned in good enough shape to blow up the mattress. *LOL*

Mhm... your latest entry (after this one) does not allow comments... that's even one step further than screening. :-)

In the news they brought a southern English motorway with evryone stuck and army people walking from car to car, pouring people tea.
*throws snow tyres north*

Here the snow is almost gone - oh, well, it makes no difference, anyway, as we're used to it.

Ooops again. *LOL*

Yep.....*LOL* are you surprised? Tea saves the day.......everything looks better or possible after a good cup of tea. *LOL* We ARE kind of weird aren't we?

My friend told me her friend left for work on Monday morning wearing all her ski gear in a blizzard...on foot, carrying a torch, a whistle!!!......buiscuits.......and a thermos of tea. *LOL*
