nah, it's roaming charges. I am out of my home network area. For the calls I made, I took a penalty for the long distance dialing and the roaming again. Roaming and overage is how they really make their money. I just don't want to give it all to them right now :(

I love Kurt Vonnegut Jr.! The first book I purchased by him was Cat's Cradle. I seriously had to struggle through about 70% of it, but the ending made me love him. Lucky to find a first edition hard cover in a used book store.

BoC was the first novel of his I read. When I got past p.4's drawing of an asshole, I was sold on him. I'm glad to finally own my favorite novel of his. My copy of Cat's Cradle is seriously damaged. That book is pretty wicked. Ice-9 gets referenced around a lot, and I am a believer in the concept of one's karass. Which one is your favorite?

I've only read a few, but cat's cradle was my favorite so far. I read half of player piano and stopped for some reason, and i've read slaughterhouse 5(of course), deadeye dick, and sirens and titans. sirens and titans is a must read, indeed!

"The Sirens of Titan", good choice. Can't go wrong with time travel.
