Here's where I get immature; any suggestions for an awesome death scene?

Thank you guys SOOOO much for encouraging me to be patient. I met with her this weekend and she asked me why I had not emailed her, I once again explained to her that she needed to do her part else I wouldn't do mine. HAHA ( Read more... )

Well, sacrifice is always fun. Can he save someone else by dying?

Or you could borrow from Dickens and go for spontaneous combustion. Can't beat that.

Crushed by the collapsing Eiffel Tower or some other big famous structure.
Carried away and eaten by pterodactyls.
Abducted by aliens.
Shot by invading Mongol hordes.
Vampires.

Or you could just abandon the story and write something else more fun. Ignoring people works quite well. :-)

Does it? I feel like she just would yell at me the nxt time i see her, and then she wouldn't get the point, she'd prolly be like 'well, you don't write to me either so whatever'

maybe I'll do a combination of those things!! Thanks Vilakins!

You could just say, "I was waiting till you felt like getting back into it again. I didn't want to nag you." No need for confrontation, and really, a lot of these things fail due lack of interest somewhere. I speak from experience, being the only person left who still wanted to play an online RPG--more than once. :-( She probably won't be angry, but relieved if you seem to lose interest too. Then, if you like the story, you can finish it on your own.

He dies of sheer laziness

"hint, hint" in parentheses optimal

I think you should do what Nico said. Writing is meant to be fun not a pokepokepokeannoying co writer thing. She just wants to take half the credit without doing half the work. You are way too nice :-)

I wish I could just ignore her, but I'm not that mean, =/ you're right Em, I'm going to have to become a rebel. Starting now.

Hm..*thinks rebellious thoughts*
i seriously don't know what to do, she has the upper hand because she can guilt trip me so hardcore and, she doesnt care =[

ugh. life is too short for stupid mindgames from people supposed to be your FRIENDS

she sounds whiney and insipid and I kind of want to punch her for causing you grief.

Wow, that was a whole lot of fabricalchemist channelling lol!

Oh, Elle. You definitely need some socks. agh_4 May 20 2010, 05:25:52 UTC
Well, that's something I didn't think of doing!

That sounds SO infuriating. And arg, I know what you mean with the being-made-to-feel-guilty-for-criticizing someone who REALLY NEEDS IT.

Hmm, maybe one of the other good characters kills him by mistake, thinking he's trying to do something evil/thinking he's one of the villains (if you have a villain). Or an earthquake strikes and he's crushed by a house. I don't know. I'm not experienced at killing people. :(

Oh, Agh I think it is a very *good* thing that you are not experienced in killing off characters. I feel like I might turn into voldemort or soemthing...

Ha! I killed off an entire city full of people in one of my books. Thus the sacrifice suggestion -- my favorite death was when the villain redeemed himself by saving the heroine's life, getting killed in the process. I just love villains who are really mistaken heroes in disguise.
