But instead, Monochrome Till Receipt (White), by Ceal Floyer, is one of the gallery's latest acquisitions going on display in a new exhibition.

Floyer describes the work as a modern still life where objects are imagined but not shown. This

It does beggar belief. The Tate Modern sometimes has some stunning stuff - like The Sun that they had a few years ago, and the huge leather flower thing before that. But plenty of it is wanky shit.

Would you really want to be surrounded by the black poloneck wearing types who applaud everytime you lit a fart?

i think 'contemporary modern art' is only going to get worse in terms of wanky shit.
