hey, it took me forever to finish it too, but since then i've been re-reading parts of itz almost every day! i'm not quite into vampires myself, but i totally enjoy the descriptions of turkey, romania, budapest, and the turkish history...beautiful!
i'm planning to move to NL in spring, no clue what i'll do there, i will have to find something, it's not so easy though :-( i'm going there in 10 days for a visit and to get my sofi number...
Are you a member of any book club? Since I moved to Vienna I joined a bookcrossing.com just to meet some interesting people. We exchange books in English and I already read a bunch.

hm i started in the historian and I could never finish it. Guess Im not that mad about vampires;-0
I bought all my stuff here in Dublin, so Im sure you can start your own collection while in NL;-)
