That's awesome! I love getting flashbacks from songs! Music does that to me all the time, too: I'll listen to certain CDs and think of oppressive heat & popcorn (summer 2004); other ones I'll think of driving through the snow (amsterdam trip). It's awesome :D :D

*high fives* Music's mostly a form of escapism or a walk down memory lane for me, it's great! :D I'm actually quite curious what reminds you of oppressive heat & popcorn. Also, don't popcorns taste cloying in hot weather? Hmm I feel like having some sorbet now that I think of oppressive heat XD

animal collective and chara! Separately, obviously they've never been together lol. but there was one summer when we'd just moved here, and my cousin had given me a popcorn maker for that christmas, so I listened to those CDs and sat around eating popcorn a whole lot hahaha.

Chara, as in the lady who appeared on Cartoon KAT-TUN once? When I heard clips of her songs on CKT, I was reminded of Bjork for some reason (I don't know if this is an insult to Chara, Bjork or worse, both of them XD). Aww that sounds like a cute memory! I've always wondered how it's like celebrating Christmas in summer though, because we've always been bombarded with the image of a white xmas :) Btw I love that Sho icon XD I need to rewatch the Pikanchi movies again!
