OMG voter stupdity

So here in Iowa we had an ammendment to our constitution on the ballot. Basically we wanted it to stop saying idiots couldn't vote and instead say people declared incompetent by a judge couldn't vote. Silly thing really but a bit more PC. Anway I went to go see how many people voted no, figuring yeah some smart ass out there must have voted no.

There's a lot of smart asses out there, and wouldn't it have been amusing to say Iowans don't think idiots should be able to vote so stay in missouri.

That's really not that much, tbh, it passed w/a landslide. Some people vote no on any changes to state or federal constitutions bc they want to preserve it as is.

True it did win by a landslide I was just shocked to see a number in the hundreds of thousands. I expected some people to be smart asses just not that many.

Personally, I think they had it wrong and the change was good. I really think they need one though that says idiots can't vote. Just think what the last four years could have been like if all those idiots weren't allowed to re-elect Bush?
