Ok got my flu shot yesterday. Last night I was utterly miserable. This morning I was still running a fever so I didn't go into work right away. I slept a bit more and then the fever went away, so into work I went. I'm still very tired but I need to avoid using PTO if I don't need to. Also my arm still hurts like a bugger but nothing I can't deal

What are these gifts in a jar you speak of?

Basically you take a large canning jar and fill it (sometimes creatively so it looks pretty) with dry ingredients. You then attach a recipe tag which instructs the receiver to add wet ingredients (usually things like water, milk, eggs, etc) to make a baked good of some type. I have found three or more different recipes for pancakes in a jar and I plan to make those for my dad as we have a history of pancakes. :D I have a little booklet I bought that has recipes for pancakes, muffins, brownies, cookies, etc.

Oh Also on the Yule party thing we'd been discussing. I definitely would like to see the lower oven fixed but if it doesn't get fixed I realized we can still make it work as the lower oven can serve as a warming oven. We'll just have to make sure we plan the menu accordingly. The Yule party will be December 21st by the way. :D
