“Harry!” Draco’s voice reverberated into the living room, causing Harry to wince. It was never good news when his boyfriend used that tone.
Steeling himself, Harry got up from the sofa and made his way into the kitchen. “Yes?” he asked, trying to keep his voice neutral.
“Do you remember the deal that we made last week?”
“Deal?” Draco had some jam just above his lip.
“Yes, deal. The one where we both clear up our own crockery after we’ve used it?” The blond looked pointedly over his shoulder at the dirty coffee mug on the draining board.
“Mmmhmm.” Yes, definitely jam. Harry ignored Draco’s initial indignation when he moved in to kiss him, hands sliding into Draco’s blond hair, and all protests stopped once their lips met.
The mug remained on the draining board, forgotten.
