HOLY SHIT. I just got a SPAM TEXT MESSAGE.
I have no idea who to complain to about this yet. Verizon, I guess?

Yeah, see, calls are one thing. But I PAY for text messaging. I don't want to pay to get spam.

I spoke to Verizon about this when I got text messaging.
When this happens, you need to call Verizon and have them issue you a credit for the cost of the incoming spam message.
Not sure what you have to do to get it beyond calling, but I've found the
Verizon reps to be largely nice and helpful folks.

Thanks. I will do that today (if I get the chance).

Apparently I can't get a credit unless I completely block all text messaging from my phone, which I don't want to do, because once in awhile my friends text message me.

I got one the other week too. I'm on cingular and thankfully I have a pretty much unlimited text plan. But it did make me all 0_0 and stuff..
