Scanned Stuffings

Jun 20, 2011 09:45

It's been a while since I amde this kind of post, but I got a new scanner and tons of material to try out. Most of these are pngs simply because I already erased all the whitespace as a service to you. They are not really spectacular textures, but rather simple and very effective ones. Also remember that these are big.

I hope so. I am so untexture-y lately, which I occasionally like, but I feel like it's gotten too same-y again. *sigh* maybe this will *inspire* me. :D

I would like to know what I can do with them. So far I only use textures to create backgrounds, but I know you can also use them for icons where you use the original background. Need to finally get organized and take some time to work through tutorials. You know, when I have worked through the photographing tutorials. *fails at life*

Well... in that case I would put in on top and use soft light and stuff.. maybe use masks to not show all, change the color.- Ect.

And hey,,I'm way behind my own schedule too ;)
