I didn't go to my high school reunion. I wasn't going to pay good money to go to a place I didn't want to go to to see people for the most part I don't even like. It would have been nice to see some of them and show off my skinny body and my successful, if non-traditional, life. But it wasn't worth it. Besides, having never gotten an actual ( Read more... )

Ellie, I'm with you. It would have been nice to see people now that I've become a much cooler person, but the reunion was poorly organized. Why were we not informed? Bleh.

FYI, if you want a British version of a much better Sex in the City (I think), try Coupling. it's hilarious, and much better for both men and women, at least I think.

I never went to my HS reunion either...for some it's a chance to see alot of friends...for most, it some sort of exercise in morbid curiousity and showing off. I've got better things than to see who became a crack addict, got fat, got skinny, got rich, etc...I talk to almost no one from my HS anymore, so it really makes no difference to me anyway :P
