Sleepless in Seattle.... And some Randomness.

Feb 11, 2005 01:09

Well, I just rewatched "Sleepless in Seattle" and actually enjoyed myself. I didn't really care for it the first time I saw it, but perhaps because I'm older and wiser, (or because I now get ALL of the "Affair to Remember" references) I've come to the conclusion that it's a pretty darn cute ( Read more... )

Well, you may not be satisfied with your fanfic and prompt writing, but I really liked your rampaging dog bit. I can just picture the havoc a large friendly dog could cause running through a wedding to get the the cake. :) It certainly made me smile.

As for the movies...I never saw "You've got Mail", but I think it came after "Sleepless in Seatle". I could be wrong though. Good luck with the writing. :)

I'm glad that you liked it! :D It was one of those: "write from the gut" type things where I really had no idea what I'd end up with. I'm glad that you got a smile out of it!

Yup, "You've Got Mail" definitely came long after "Sleepless in Seatle. ;)

*cringe* Sleepless in Seattle amd all that.. *shudder* Romatic-type moveis give me the heebie jeebies.
Now, dogs with icing on their fur, that's funny (so long as it's not chocolate, which I've heard has an adverse effect upon the canine metabolism).

Heh. I have many a friend that is more terrified by romantic-comedy type movies then they are the scariest of slasher movies. :P

I'm glad that you found it funny, and believe it or not, I KNEW about the chocolate thing, which is why I went with vanilla. lol

Well, romantic-comedy type movies... *cringe* I have more fun with the Godzilla Versus Random Mnoster type of movies (sometimes I think of them as parodies of romantic comedies, you can adlib cheesy dialogue). I believe it about the dog bit, your knowing about the chocolate; I was jsut glad the icing wasn't LOL. This time of year though, I'm glad I'm not canine (the rest of the year too ,since I am a chocoholic). >^~,0^

Aww, I liked it! And I can just see that dog barreling through a wedding reception. LOL

As for the PP thing - I finally decided to write a scene that was only suggested by the prompt in the vaguest way possible, so don't feel alone there. ;)

I'm very glad that you liked it! I literally pulled it up out of the depths with no idea where I'd take it until after the first couple of lines. :P

THANK YOU for not making me feel alone! ;P I've really just been having the hardest time getting my idea DOWN. Hopefully I'll have it finished soon!

Hehe... :)

I'm glad that you thought it was amusing!

And I completely agree with the writing thing. More often then not I get stuck on something so I start a NEW fanfic... The bad part is when I get caught up in the NEW one and leave the old one to fester.

It's a perpetual cycle with me! ;)

Have you seen The Notebook?? Oh boy is that a sad movie!! I rented that over the weekend and definitely plan to buy it! So do you plan on finding another job once you get back from the Phillipines? Or is it Phillippines? One L, two P's?? Shit I don't know! LoL

I just watched it last night. The book is VERY sad so I kind of expected it. Still felt kinda sucker-punched at the end though! :D

And as for finding a job? I dunno... ;)

And I can't spell Phillipines either... lol I'm pretty sure that <- is right though. :D

So how're you doing hun?
