I've basically been watching this show for lulz since they severed my last emotional connection to it by killing Sayid in the dumbest way possible. Now I'm just scratching my head going, "Really, writers? Your solution to building up six years of mysteries was to pull a dramatic cop-out ending that answers nothing? REALLY?"
On the emotional level of the characters, I can see why so many people loved it. From a plot, writing, and genre perspective, I'm fascinated by how much fail there was. I think it'll be interesting to see how this finale is remembered a year or two from now.

I think that about sums it up.

Now that I've had time to absorb/read the comments of people smarter than me, I think I've come to terms with the finale. Almost. Maybe.
BUT ASHES TO ASHES DID IT BETTER!
