The Meme: Vocalion's Questions

Jan 26, 2008 13:24

I thought this meme sounded like fun. Here is how it works:
1. Leave me a casual comment of no particular significance, like a lyric to your favorite song.
2. I will respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. Update your lj with the answers to these questions.
4. Include this explanation and offer to ask others in your own post.
5. When others respond with a desultory comment, you will ask them five questions.

My response to Vocalion's Questions:
1. Have you made your choice yet between the rich school and the poor school?
I chose both, actually. I will be working at the rich school until the end of the year. I am the intermediate teacher, so I will be teaching different grades as needed. Next year, in August, I will be teaching Kindergarten at the poor school. It is neat how it is working out so far.

2. Can you explain your recent interest in the paranormal?
I've always been interested in the paranormal. I think it goes with my life-long horror movie/novel obsession. I have seen some unusual things in my life --some of which I can't explain logically or scientifically. I'm not saying that I am a believer, but I am not a non-believer.

3. How's your love life? Are you dating anyone?
My love life is pathetic. I am not dating anyone right now. Some days I think that I really want to get back out in the field and get a man. Other days I am perfectly content to be single. I am holding out for true love, I guess.

4. What was your favorite present that you received for Christmas?
EDIT: I forgot to answer this question in my original post. Oops!
My favorite Christmas present this year was from my mom and dad. It was a device that allows me to listen to my Zune (Microsoft's version of the ipod) through my car stereo. Since I graduted near Christmas, I also received Parent-Teacher Store gift certificates from my 7 aunts. I know they will come in handy!

5. What are you doing for fun these days in your free time?
I have spent a great deal of time with my family lately. My sister is getting married soon, and my brother and his wife are going to have a baby. I am the maid of honor at sister's wedding, and I have been named the godmother/guardian if anything goes wrong of my future neice or nephew. I have been forcing myself to be more social by connecting with old friends. Of course, I have also been reading.

I hope that answers your questions satisfactorily.
