Ooh, lovely work. This is such a well observed glimpse into Scully's mind at this point. She's so intent on proving her strength in every way that she can't avoid even the slightest risk of any vulnerability, and that's beginning to take a toll on her. (And that's not even getting into Mulder's mental baggage.) Very nicely done.

This is really lovely. It captures that time beautifully, and the interactions feel very natural, and the characters very lived-in. Please write more! Lib

Hi! I love this story; so much so that I just rec'd it on crack_van. I said all my nice things about it over there, but I'll just add that "This doesn't look like pudding" is a pretty classic line.
