Does this make me look fat?

I'm seriously wondering! I've noticed over the past two years that certain people I meet have a default compliment when they see me: "Have you lost weight? You look great!" I agree. From last July until this past February, I lost 55 pounds - the only person from whom I wanted a compliment on my weight loss was my doctor (and she did just that - she figured I'd be able to lose 25). Everyone else gave varying opinions from "you looked just fine before" to "you look great" to "you look too thin now". I like the way I look, my doctor likes the way I look, and right now, those are the only two opinions that matter about my physique.

Great work on the weight loss! See? That is something big! Not just the weight loss, but the dedication and hard work that leads to it. In contrast, I don't think I look like I've lost weight at all. So what are people seeing that I'm not? it's so confusing!
