why? cos they're very religious. but i have a kind of grudging respect for this particular family, i must say. they (the parents) came by their beliefs about children after having an abortion early on in their marriage, and they've also made a commitment to living debt-free, so if they want something big - like that 7000 sq ft house - they save up until they have enough money to buy it outright.

Good for them, about living debt-free. If one can do it, one definitely should.
