My LJ days are coming to an end

I hate to let this go, but with work starting again, my family responsibilities, and waning fannish interests, I don't have the energy to keep this journal going. I've let my extra userpic accounts expire and the same will happen with my paid account in the middle of the month. I'll keep the basic account up and running, so I can still check in

I delayed responding until I had a few moments to properly say good bye. I already miss our frequent interactions, shared squee, unshared squee, and friendly disagreements. I have so many great memories of our time together on LJ. I really feel one day our paths will cross in person. Good luck with school and the Scottish exchange. Thank you for being such an amazing friend and inspiring writer.

I saw this post when I got home last night but I'd just finished two hectic 12 hour days at work so I didn't want to reply when I was feeling braindead and exhausted

Ditto to the hugs and cries. I remember when you first left and my LJ had a falafel shaped hole. Hopefully we can meet in person next summer when I come to the UK for that conference. In the meantime good luck surviving the BB hiatus!
