hey, so i have this different version of "a distorted reality is now a necessity to be free," with different lyrics, and everything. i think i might like it even better than the one i was familiar with. i thought i'd share.

i might like the lyrics better in the "you don't impress me" version, but i think the other version sounds more... full.

nevermind. i can't really say i like the lyrics in that version more because i do love the "god knows why my country don't give a fuck... fuck" part in the other one. i don't know. my head is going to explode if i try to pick which one i like better.

yeah, in that under the radar interview. the one where he talks about how someone broke into his house and stole songs off his computer... also about how people were following him around for months? that interview made me kinda sad... he sounded super paranoid. :/.

This is the single version. It was the b-side to the Pretty Ugly 7". I waited AGES for that record to be released -- they kept pushing back the release date.
I always liked this one more than the album version, but my option's skewed, cos this was the first one I heard of course. But the album version has awesome elements this doesn't have -- I wish there was a version that incorporated the best elements of both versions...
