One more thing. I have pacifier issues - always have. I just didn't want E to have one. First for breastfeeding reasons, then for the whole having to take it away eventually reasons. But the kid loves to suck!! So much so that his dad has never been able to put him down to sleep (silly daddy, no breasts!!). So anyway, after trying to get over

Paci - I understand where you are coming from. Initially, I didn't want Morgann to have one either. But, in the hospital, she had a VERY strong suck need, so we started then actually. I was just so SORE from being sucked on all time - and dad's pinky was sore too! She quit using it after my milk came in for the most part - but then after we moved started up again. Now she has to have it to go to sleep. :( So, all this to say - I think you made the right annd a good decision - and I am regretting getting her HOOKED on her paci.

I can understand the soreness and wanting a pacifier - those first few weeks were ROUGH!! Maybe she'll reject the paci again once she's settled with the move? Even if not, I'm sure you can wean her off it before she's in elementary school ;) (Joking, I'm sure it will be much easier than we think!)
