Here are a few more photos of people, famous and not so famous, from my Google World Family Photo Album. (All can be found by keying my surname, "Griesser", into the Google image search.)

Cousin Michael

This is cousin Michael. He's a population biologist at Uppsala University in Sweden. He studies the problem of declining local bird populations by killing and stuffing them.

Cousin Michael says "I found that parents give their offspring nepotistic antipredator protection through increasing their vigilance, giving alarm calls and mobbing predators." Of course he is talking about our family here, not birds...

Aunt Elektro

This is Aunt Elektro Griesser, from Munich, Germany. Its a sad story ... as a young girl Aunt Elektro contracted polio, and she is now permanently confined to an iron lung.

She is shown here with her 3 year old son, Milkie.

Brothers Harry & Roland

Harry & Roland Griesser, proprieters of "The Griesser Spoon" in Alberta, Canada. Specialties of the House include Tyrolean Bauernschinken, Bündnerfleisch, and Boorewurst.

Oh! Be sure to try the Rohspeck while you're there...its wunderbar!

Daughter Laura Griesser

Laura Griesser. A barista from Smyrna, she spends her spare time making snacks for fishes.

This picture was taken in Athens (and published in the local paper), where she was discovered wandering in the woods cold and wet> She was mumbling something about vegetarianism and her mean father making her eat shoots and leaves.

Uncle Max!

This is Uncle Max - the famous Bavarian folk actor and yodeller. He starred in such famous films as "The Sold Grandfather", "Love and Sheet Metal Damage" and "Everything for Nothing". He was especially popular in the role of "Moosgruber" in the film "Police Inspection 1".

The famous writer Hannes Burger described Uncle Max as "a high-sensitive Polterer, a strength-defying Mimose, with a shot of harmless Schlitzohrigkeit." I ask you now, could anyone have had a higher compliment than that?
