Yeah, I was sad. Did you think this year had more problems than usual? I was always and Anime Expo girl and may just be biased to the way they run things.
Frankly, for the size Otakon is, there will always be something going wrong.
They stopped doing day passes years ago because it wasn't economically feasible. And yeah, there are a lot of lines. But also, not a whole lot of order. It's been getting worse as the con has gotten bigger. But yeah, there were issues. There wasn't a lot I could go to or get into, but I still had a good time.
Oh yeah, there was tons of fun people-watching. Just wish it were easier to do other things. It's sad because the big conventions get cool people, and then you can't get near them. The small ones that are actually intimate can't get any cool people. The Convention Paradox.
