we don't really know each so i might not have known what to say if i had noticed your posting about this. but i read most of your public posts via another friend's list and never noticed it. just thought i'd mention that to confirm you probably do have friends who likewise just didn't notice it.

ummm, perhaps i didn't notice it because your journal doesn't give the impression that getting a degree is "everything I worked for" so it might have been skipped over as just another remark that you'd rather be elsewhere doing other things.

you'll survive - and whatever you end up doing you'll have an impact, you'll have friends, and you'll probably end up writing about it too.
