Nobody's writing here anymore! It used to take me ages to trawl through my friends' page and now it takes a few minutes and I keep checking to see if I'm not logged in and only the public posts are showing..
Ah, yes, hacking the Wii. YB has somehow managed to alter NSMB 1-Tower so it's impossible to get out. You reach the door to the Boss Battle at the top of the tower and it just doesn't open. I'm going to have to back up all the edited files so that I can re-get all the originals, to get a working copy of that level. Unless... Maybe he removed the entry point from the Boss Battle itself... Or the actual battle...
I didn't pick up posting as much after stopping work as I thought I would, and then people don't comment much, and I forget about posting again ... I read LJ several times a day, though, always :-) For me it's not FB, I spend very little time there, it's more my Cosmoravian blog and Twitter!
Do you read Cosmoravian? Because that gets a lot of photos which I never get around to posting here :-/
And I often think about the exchange we had here last spring when I said I didn't want to move here, you said you'd be all over a new country, and I said I had BTDT and now didn't want *change*. Well. It's fun in a lot of ways here but now that the first novelty has worn off, B and I often talk about the what-ifs, "do we really want to settle here for good - not really", "what then, move again?!". I should write properly about it ...
It seems like many of the people I follow use Plurk and FB now. I can't access FB from work and Plurk isn't easy to follow so I feel like I'm missing out!
FWIW I found plurk worth whatever time it took to get used to. The trick for me was to add as many of my online friends as quickly as possible - that got the convos going for me.... LMK if you'd like to be re-intro'd to plurk if you haven't tried it recently. :-)
