GAAAAAIZ WE JUST HAD AN EARTHQUAKE. In Virginia. We are okay, not even freaked out in this house, though that's because we're Californians, really. But it was very weird when the world started swaying. Wrong coast for that!

Nothing even fell down. Kiddo was alarmed for a few minutes, but we're all fine.

Back when I was having a really intense struggle with earthquake phobia after a... gosh, 5.3 quake here? (Not as strong as today's!) I was scheduled to go to NYC that weekend and as I stepped onto the plane I felt a vast weight drop from me because hooray, going somewhere where I could not POSSIBLY be anxious or fearful about earthquakes! Hooray!

My past self just went DDDDDDDDDD:!!! and mourned her innocence. Present self is glad things are pretty much okay. ♥
