Hey Ellie =) Sorry this won't be a long wonderful comment like the others.. but I wanted to say that I feel just the same. The only thing that helps me even care about high school anymore (at a place like McKinley...) is the hope that we will all be back at Franklin together again, and we'll have our band/orchestra trip and lunch time together and classes with familiar faces and our awesome faculty (which I've REALLY grown to appreciate more all of a sudden).. I did try to give up on it for a few days to face what could be reality or something.. but I just couldn't handle it. I do still have hope that Franklin will indeed have a class of 2006, and I promise I won't give up on that. It comforts me to know that you really care too.. thanks :) Viva Franklin ^^! mj~
Thanks to everybody who responded. It is always awesome to hear from you guys. I miss everyone so much and thats pretty much it. I don't want people to think I'm mad at them or anything...just when I think about how spread out and distant everyone is I get really lonely and depressed and just miss everyone terribly. I just try not to imagine the eventual deterioration of all of our friendships and try not to think about how we will gradually fade from one another's memories. Thats basically why I had my minor freak out/break down episode. It won't happen again...for awhile. As long as I talk to people on a daily basis I'll keep on truckin(in the words of dana).
Hey Ellie, I know how you feel! I've been feeling the same way lately, but I have some good news for you! Ms. Christen came and visited McKinley HS in Baton Rouge, and she said that they are working really hard to get Franklin open for second semester! I think they'll be able to do it too, when Ms. Christen puts her mind to something she usually gets it done. So don't give up hope!!! I miss you!! ~A~
