that's cute actually. speaking of inventions from that era, the first handphones weighed nearly 2 kg.
do you remember the bubble jet printer? and super old fashioned printer paper that came with perforated sides, with rows of punched holes? it came in a long roll and one had to manually tear off individal sheets. in primary school my school printers were still using those :)
Yesss I loved that paper! Whenever i visited my mom or dad's office I'd collect the little strip of hole-y border in a bag, ripping off along the perforated edges so that they can be pretend-hair or pretend-noodles. I always tried to rip the longest strip without breaking the perforated edges at the end of each page.
yes precisely!! it became pretend-items, though i can't remember what mine were. i know i did make knots and origami out of them though. and yeah i always felt such satisfaction at tearing a strip that spanned several pages.
kinda funny how we both did that. guess we're both weird? :)
i wonder if kids nowadays can partake of such simple pleasures, what with all their fancy gizmos
