I just saw a squirrel run across the road in front of our car a couple of days ago. Chewed wires???? Uh...yeah.... need to make sure the dog spends ALOT of time in the yard!

Hi there! That happened to my parents' car also...I guess in winter, the squirrels thought it was a nice warm place to make a nest...they were unpleasantly awoken I am sure. Anyway, they also chewed the wires. That may explain my dad'd obsession with not allowing the squirrel (it was a certain smart arse squirrel) to eat the bird seed. This went on for years. He would make the bird feeder 'squirrel proof' (and frankly hideous in the process) and the squirrel would best him! He would spend hours in the garage working on plans to thwart the squirrel... lol we were kinda worried about him actually. good thing they finally moved.
anyway, that sucks! Dont go all crazy though! hahaha
