Consider this!Join the resistance!!!! I hear we are going to hit close to $4.00 a gallon by next summer and it might go higher!! Want gasoline prices to come down? We need to take some intelligent, united action. This makes MUCH MORE SENSE than the "don't buy gas on a certain day" campaign that was going around last April or May! Actually - if you stop using your cars for a month and ride a bike or walk (don't even do public transportation), that might have more of an impact.

The sad thing is, we don't have enough solidarity as a country to do this. However, the illegal immigrants seem to. Maybe we need to talk to them for some ideas. ~rme~

Yeah, unfortunately the day when masses of Americans choose not to drive their cars voluntarily because it would be good for the environment and good for their pocketbook is the same day that masses of Americans stop eating McDonalds because it would be good for the their health and the environment and their pocketbook.

(But for those of us who insist on driving we should at least be able to avoid one particular company! It's at least a small start in a good direction...)
