I was listening to NPR yesterday and they were discussing the ethical issues raised by the Body Worlds exhibit (such as how the bodies were obtained-were all bodies donated knowingly by the owner etc). I've been wanting to go to this ever since I heard about it back when I was still at school in LA. Somehow I never got around to it but I wonder if

remember when Body Worlds was, like, the new "thing" to know about and all the newspapers were obsessed with explaining and using the word "plastinated"?

actually I only heard about it in passing in one of my cog sci classes (one of the ones with Linden and she was considering giving extra credit for going to it-but then decided not to...) Did you have a chance to go see it while it was in LA?

sadly no... does seem like it would be pretty interesting, though... do they even show it anymore??

according to the website it's no longer in LA but it is still in NY...
