Make-your-own Converse has so many options! I got a pair this weekend just for spring/summer sneakers, but they only had sizes 4 and 5 and apparently I'm a size 4.5. The ones I got are 4s and are too tight when walking around ( Read more... )

Yes! The skulls are both badass and adorable. How do they do that?

Also you can make them different colors on the inside of the foot versus the outside. Bizarro! So tempting.

jesusss you have tiny little feet! i bought a pair of too small chucks once and just wore them to bed a couple nights and all was fine.
can you color the eyelets, too? if so, it's totally worth the extra money!

I'm not sure how I'd feel wearing them to bed, especially not since I've been wearing them around outside for a couple of days now. They seem to be breaking in nicely, though.

I blame the picture for making them look like duck feet. The actual shoes in that size were not big and awkward.

Also, 7.5 - 8 in women's? B/c that's 5.5 - 6 in Converse world and you'd basically be wearing the same little shoes I am.

Yes, my feet are not actually size 4s. They're normally 6.5s. I'm a sucker for vanity sizing though.

I was a little terrified of having something so bright as part of my regular wardrobe, but I wear them with jeans and I have a lot of blue and green shirts so it works well enough.

It doesn't actually do anything special--doesn't move independently, doesn't slide around, isn't even that thick. It's just for show.
