Of course, the mythology developed during writing the novel. And then I thought - why not apply that idea of mythology in some short story? :) The setting is different - novel is set in Mordor and this in Mirkwood, and the characters are different, but I think the idea works :)

Anyway, throughout writing the orc-novel, I figured they would have some sort of mythology, so I decided to use it outside the novel, too.
