Enjoy that feeling! When I studied abroad in the UK in 2002-2003, we had just entered the Iraq war and everyone asked me, "Do people really like Bush? What is America doing?" Bush made it embarrassing to be an American on a world stage, but I hope that will change now. ♥

I will! It was really exciting experiencing the election in a foreign country. Apparently 80% of England favored Obama in their polls. The election showing was supposed to be mostly for Americans -- BBC was filming it because they said it was the biggest gathering of Americans in England that night -- but so many English students were there as well. Such joy. It was amazing.

Half my family is American, and I was following this with great interest here in Germany. Fantastic outcome, better than I expected! :)

Watching in a different country really was a cool experience. I'm so thrilled -- for me, for your family in America, and for you, because now we will have renewed foreign policy :)
