Thank you so much! I really wanted to write something after rereading Even a Worm and realizing how much love there was between the two of them in that arc, and I had a lot of trouble beginning it. I'm so glad you think the length is good.

Oh, thank you! I'm thrilled that Gojyo came across right. Characterization is always the hardest part.

As a side note -- your icon! Haibane is probably my favorite anime of all time :]

Characterization is the part I fuss over the most when I write. But I think your Gojyo was just perfect.

Haibane is one of my old faves - I didn't think anyone else in the world had ever watched it though :D

I saw Haibane when I was just getting into anime as a thirteen or fourteen year old and so it's stuck with me. I went into Walgreens like a year ago and they were selling the first volume for like $4.99. I LOLed pretty hard at that.

Gnyaaahhhhh - such cuteness from Gojyo! I love the description of Hakkai's voice, and Gojyo's nervous chain-smoking becausse he hates being in a position of responsibility. Gojyo on a vigil is just darling, and Hakkai is wonderfully perceptive. The last few lines were wonderful - especially the part about sharing, which I liked the most in the whole fic ^___^

Haha, exactly! I love how Gojyo assumes responsibility without question, but he really does doubt himself because it's not his strong suit.
