You, I think, are the only person in the world who knows what the one thing is that I carry all the time. Generally, I also carry my wallet, which contains other treasures: I have a commemorative coin, an old and well-loved pin that was a gift from you, and a cheesy plastic card with the serenity prayer on it--given to me by a now deceased friend back in 2001. Less personal, but not lacking in significance, there are a couple of particularly vital business cards (one of which is from my head shrink), an assortment of IDs, and a debit card. Now, moving beyond the confines of my old and worn wallet, I will also admit a tendency to carry the keys to my car house bicycle along with my cellular phone. If I intend to visit someplace picturesque, I try to carry my digital camera as well, and if venturing too far abroad (like to the Albert Heijn) I like to be equipped with a map!
