Life is so drastically different here. I can't even remember the last time that I was actually doing school work instead of just faking it. I probably spend about two to three hours a day studying/doing math problems, an unfortunate activity that may ultimately lead to my demise as an introverted math nerd. Math 20A: honors calculus. It is a rerun of calculus, except MASSIVELY in depth. So far there has not been any calculus, it has been all ridiculous number theory. We've been doing shit like: Deriving e, proving Newton's law of gravitation, proving Newton's bi-nomial theorem, proofs by induction. On the latest problem set, we have to calculate the area of a growing fractal, so crazy! The class is aimed at math nerds. It is really tough.

i just don't think it's right to say things are dank outside of encinitas. man, now that i'm gone i've come to realize more than ever that encinitas is its own fucked up lovable little world.

I know exactly what you mean, and I am jealous of the high dankie level at Brown. I guess the Hugh Hefner ranking of "Top 10 Party School" was a lot more accurate than I was hoping, because all anyone in my building does is sit in a living room and drink shitty beer and listen to Linkin Park.
