I'm feeling rather annoyed at names. They're these little shortcuts we use to fill in for the entirety of entities and in that sense they're quite useful. They just seem a bit of a disappointment, these intimate fragments that roll around in the mouth, leaving nothing but a bad taste behind. Names are part of ritual. Ritual is an expression of intent.

Power and meaning ...or lack thereof can only be applied by the user. Names still have their meaning, but a candle only sheds light where there is darkness. One candle among a thousand, or burning in the sunlight is easily ignored.
