Ultra realistic? Cthulhu wept. I'm not entirely certain I approve of Nerf guns ( I see them as a like source of bad weapon handling habits) but this fucking human chihuahua needs to get a dose of reality...

Which is actually one reason I'm glad they bear so little resemblance to guns.

Any updates on the Long Gun Registry, by the way? I was speaking with a Quebecer last weekend who seemed to think it's a done deal, but I don't know enough about your legal system to interpret what the stages of passage mean.

Oh, the LGR is on its way out. Passed committee without amendments, goes back to Commons for third reading after the holiday break, then up to the Senate, where it will pass handily. I figure just in time for barbeque weather.

I appreciate the moral fiber of you folks up there, by the way. Said Quebecite had a knee-jerk negative reaction to the subject of LGR dismantling at first, but after very little discussion was leading me on why maybe concealed carry permits weren't such a bad idea after all.
