I cannot find a whole bunch of notes I made on the actual battle of Lundy's Lane - not general notes, but nitty gritty detail notes. They should be somewhere in my office, but where? I made them before I got into organised folder mode, but I can't see any reason why they would have been recycled

My next book, Amy, is definitely not going to be historical fiction.

I am swimming in research notes. The loss of these ones, however, have spurred me on into calling up a local historian who specializes in the early roads and trail systems. (I don't know why but I get very shy when doing this sort of thing) He and I are going to meet tomorrow when he will attempt to answer my many questions.
