Who Says Elephants Can't Dance?
WHY MY JOB SUCKS!
1) It's in the middle of no where
2) I'm the youngest person there by at least 30 years
3) There are 4 employees including me
4) I do whatever jobs no one else wants to do ie mop the floor, do dishes, sort groceries in a basment with a 5 foot high ceiling...ya i dont fit too well
5) It costs me money to work there gas and then food, and since i work pretty much everyday gas goes quickly and lunchs get expensive
6) I work practically everyday... 5 days of work, 1 day off, 5 more days
7) Get paid less then everyone else for doing the same job
8) Feels like i come home to have a sleep break from work and before i know it im back at work
9) I work 9 hours and get a half hour break
10) 98% of the time ive worked the same shift 10am-7pm
11) Makes me stressed and angry just thinking about working the next day
12) I've known my boss my entire life and he can't even spell my name
13) I feel guilty if i sit down for 5 minutes
SIGNS I DON'T LIKE MY JOB
1) I watch the clock for the entire 9 hours i'm there, trying to convince myself that my days almost done
2) It's not a 9 hour shift, it's a 9 hour sentence
3) I almost flipped out at a customer for dropping some ice cream onto the floor
4) I'm constantly thinking of ways to get fired
5) Favorite time of day: lunch break and driving home
FAVORITE DAYS AT WORK
1) Canada Day when Emily and Alanna came to visit
2) Day i spent practically the entire shift painting in the back shed-didnt have to deal with people
3) Day i spent outside running garage sale- got to leave at 4 so i didnt have to close, and also didnt have to work with people
4) Day i was told to build a snowman
Sorry about this very uplifting entry, but i still find time to be happy and with the people i enjoy to spend time with (not as much as i would like but it could be worse)
