Post Convention Pain
For as long as I been going to Balticon, I known that for at least a week after the Con, I will be in a lot of pain. I find the trade of of one week of recovery, and a possible flare from hell, for 4 days of happiness, well worth it. Time wasting, Warning this subject (IBS) may be too icky to read.
Tuesday I had an IBS attack from Hell, which sent me into 6 days off sitting around doing nothing. Well not quite doing nothing, as I did sit at my computer for hours playing games, I have d/l'ed from Realplayer some time back and trying to keep up with various blogs, social networks sites and email. Technical difficulties
Seems cable company has been messing up my modem last few days. This is first time i haven't gotten time out message in 3 days. They are going to send tech tomorrow to fix problem. Somehow I can get on at the moment, but Paul can't. -
Thinks I could use and can't order from Amazon.
Since Paul been home a day, I realized there is only so much I can do before, I end up too sore to move. everyone who been over to help me the last 3 weeks have been wonderful, for all the extra help.
Sadly it isn't enough. I'm not finding a tall handsome house elf popping up when I need one. (though it might be fun refusing to give it any ( Read more... ) -
How I can see the floor for the first time ever.
Today the kids and I tackle the mess in the living room and kitchen. James and Jamie brought over the twin bed, that Lindsey had used when he lived with them. James rolled up the rug and move furnishings around, so he could get it and the couch out and in the yard for now. Paul's surgery went very well.
I got to hospital after he was taken down to prep. They let me sit with him until ready to take him into the operating room. Then I went up to see my dad with Jamie. She got me settle back down in the waiting area and there I sat for hours waiting to hear first from the doctor and then be able to see him. I had to wait until he was taken back ( Read more... )
